The Calumet Intercepting Sewer 19F was a 60” sewer in need of rehabilitation. Bypass pumping was required to reroute the flow of the sewer for Insituform Technologies to line the sewer through the use of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP). Mersino’s ability to utilize vertical turbine pumps, as well as our telemetry services and engineering, were winning factors for the job.

MERSINO provided a temporary bypass pumping system at multiple locations, as determined by the City of Omaha Sewer Department, along the Missouri River Levee system in Omaha, Nebraska. Each pump was provided with approximately 50 feet of suction pipe and 200 feet of discharge pipe.
