Global Pump has an immediate opening for an Industrial Paint Prep Technician to join our team in Davison, MI. Candidates should be highly motivated and capable of working flexible hours.

Typical job functions will include:
• Preparing, priming, and painting pumps, parts, and various equipment
• Masking and covering surfaces not to be painted
• Operating and maintaining paint spraying equipment
• Examining finished parts or equipment to ensure proper surface prep and finished quality
• Ordering paint and keeping equipment in a safe, clean condition
• Sandblasting equipment in preparation for painting

Minimum Qualifications:
• Previous experience in industrial painting or production painting
• A Good Learning Orientation
• Effective Time Management
• Ability to lift heavy objects (75lbs) and perform strenuous physical labor
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
