MINEXPO 2024 in Las Vegas proved to be a fantastic opportunity for Global Pump and Mersino Water Solutions to showcase our latest innovations in pumping, dewatering, and one-pass trenching solutions to the mining world. As the world’s largest mining tradeshow, held only once every four years, MINEXPO brought together over 2,000 exhibitors globally. With our team of dedicated experts, we connected with fellow industry moguls, displayed our top-of-the-line equipment, and discussed how our solutions can help solve even the most demanding groundwater control issues in mining.
What Made Our Booth Stand Out
Our booth, located in the West Hall, was approximately 2,000 sq. feet, making it the largest booth we have ever had at a tradeshow! This meant we had plenty of space to showcase 6 of our pumps that have mining applications, a unique cutaway displaying our impeller design, and a live demonstration of our telemetry device, Mersino Connect, which allows users to remotely start a pump from thousands of miles away. The pumps, ranging from submersible to high heads, reflected all the possible solutions to any water related mining problems.
The Global Pump Booth Staff
Our booth was staffed by a team of expert salespeople from around the globe, including Latvia, South Africa, Panama, and the U.S. They worked diligently to engage with booth visitors, providing valuable insights about our range of capabilities. We were able to discuss industry trends and changes, as well as innovative improvements to technology that are making an impact in the mining world. Attending this convention also allowed for several networking opportunities with attendees and companies from around the world, connections we might not have made without this event.
