Brightline Rail East

All Aboard Florida, the $2.5 billion privately funded project, will operate passenger train services from Miami to Orlando, Florida. The service will use the name Brightline and will feature five brightly colored train-sets to capture the sunny atmosphere of Florida. The Brightline trains will travel at speeds up to 125 mph and will make the trip between Miami and Orlando in about 3 hours.

The service will begin with five sets of four-car trains that will carry 240 passengers each. Within a year they plan to expand this to 10 sets of seven-car trains with the capacity for 356 passengers each.

The east-west portion of the project that we are responsible for runs along State Road 528 between Cocoa Beach and Orlando, in Central Florida.

This is the only portion of the project that will have a new rail system built, allowing the train to reach its top speed.

Methodology
To date, we have installed just over 30,000 linear feet of sock tile. We have four 12″, five 8″ and two 6″ rotary lobe wellpoint pumps handling the dewatering of those systems. We also have several trash pumps operating in various open pumping applications. This has been an exciting project so far and we look forward to installing more sock tile for the Brightline passenger train service. Project Contact:
